What does it mean
to belong
somewhere new?
The Locals follows the journeys of immigrants who have made Portugal their home —
chasing opportunity, love, warmth, safety, or simply a different kind of life.
Through intimate conversations and candid moments, we explore belonging, identity,
and the quiet courage it takes to start over.
